We have 2 bonded female cats looking for a new home. Both are unspayed and strictly indoor cats (unless taken out to the yard on a leash). They have their shots except for rabies as they don't leave the house. The black one is Bella and the calico is Rainbow. Rainbow is half Maine Coon but is the size of a standard house cat. They both will be turning 2 in October. Reason we are rehoming is because Rainbow gets bullied often by our male cats and occasionally by the dogs. Bella has to go with her since they are bonded. Bella loves to climb things and be up on higher surfaces and she also loves boxes! She likes occasional petting, but also likes to have her own space. Rainbow is a bit shy at first, and it may take her a while to settle in. But once she'fortable, she likes to cuddle and sleep with her humans. She also likes to jump up onto high surfaces. They each eat about 1.5 cans of food per day, but this can be adjusted depending on what food you buy. We've switched litters several times so they pretty much adjust to any litter. (I have a litter box that can go with them if wanted). We currently are using pellets, but have used wheat, corn and walnut litters in the past. They both have gone through heat cycles already, so definitely can be spayed anytime. We didn't bother because both our male cats are neutered. They are both beautiful and wonderful cats, and it pains us to see them go, but we have to do what is best for them. Bella will let us clip her nails as long as someone is holding her. And we have bathed her, but she really dislikes the blow dryer. Rainbow is a little tougher when es to trimming nails, but with the right approach, it can be done. Rainbow has been bathed in the past and she absolutely hates it. So if you're not used to handling cats in the bath, I would suggest taking her to a professional groomer instead. Although neither of them needs to be bathed often. They are used to big dogs as we have a Great Pyrenees and a Bernese Mountain Dog. We've had these girls since they were babies, and we're hoping this next home is where they'll be able to stay forever. Able to deliver within the Edmonton area. Please feel free to message with any questions you may have.
