E36 1998 BMW 328i Two owners. 209xxx kms. Well maintained over the ownership with service records and history. Garage kept for its entire life. No kids have ever been in the car. Unmodified and no aftermarket work done. This classic BMW started life purchased at Town and Country BMW by an elderly man until it was purchased in 2013 by my wife. For its entire life with us it has been professionally maintained and serviced with OEM parts and oils or better (aluminum end tank radiator to replace the plastic OE one). It has a lengthy service history for all services and maintenance done, with far too many items to list here over the 10 years of ownership. It starts up great, runs great, has no mechanical failures. It e with two sets of wheels, one with dated winters that need replacement but they are the “bottlecap” BMW wheels, not aftermarket. Even the AC works, and was recently recharged at BMW Hamilton!
The good: Very well maintained. Probably one of the better examples of a E36 in Canada. Service history is known. No aftermarket work or “tuning” done. It is a very clean example of a classic E36. Pretty much all parts are OEM or better. Original, UNFADED paint. Runs and drives great. Mechanically sound. AC works!
The bad: Seeping power steering hose connection, which could be replaced. There are two notable rust spots: One spot lower on the drivers door and the usual spot at the rear bumper where it meets the trunk. These mon spots and easily repairable. Window just got a rock crack on the upper tinted area. It has all original glass. As with any 25 year old car, there are minor issues like scratches, faded trim etc.
We’d like to keep this car, but we don’t have the garage space and have a newer car ing. Please email me to set up an appointment. Please note I will not entertain tire kickers, test pilots, or “drifters” who just want to shell the car and let it rust in a field. If you’re into cars, you know what this is and why it’s a great car. We love this car and would keep it if we could, as prices are only going to go up for rare clean examples like this.
