1996 Fender Precision Bass Lyte Deluxe, Excellent player’s bass from Fender Japan...and this one was signed by bass great Victor Wooten on the upper horn! The P-Bass Lyte was designed as a smaller and lighter version of the traditional Precision Bass, but there’s a lot more going on here. It features a Jazz style neck with a 9.5” radius, mahogany body, USA designed electronics with a humbucker pickup in the bridge with traditional split single P-Bass pickup in the mid position. Active electronics consist of a Volume control, Pan Pot, Bass cut/boost, and Treble cut/boost. Quality gold hardware including Gotoh tuners and a high-mass bridge that strings through the back OR through the body. This one even has an added Gotoh drop tuner which easily drops the low E to a D. It plays with ease and would be a good choice for long gigs due to its lighter weight fortable jazz profile neck. The back of the neck also has a gun oil finish, much faster than a gloss finish. The set up is fortable anywhere on the neck and it has a whole lot of tonal variations thanks to the electronics. Includes Dunlop locking strap pins and a quality strap with Dunlop locks installed.
