1988 Merkur Scorpio for sale 2200$ O.B.O

Selling my 1988 Merkur Scorpio. I brought it home last summer for $2500, and it started to leak transmission fluid, so I parked it in the garage. I called the guy I bought it from, and he told me to get lost the car was mint before I touched it.....lol. After a month I needed the garage, my kids killed the new battery playing in the garage inside the car and I'm not sure which interior light they left on...so I tried to boost it, and it was cold out, so the hood cable stopped working......I don't know if it snapped....or just slipped out of its position. So, I just parked it outside.
The motor says COSWORTH, i checked it out. It is inspired by the COSWORTH engine that is world famous. The car is loaded. The sunroof doesn't work but, power is getting there. The seats are powered, the back seats are powered to recline into the hatch a bit fort. This is the German Lincoln. Made there, built here. Obviously, the transmission is going to need attention, so you will need to tow it away. the leather is in excellent shape. The only seat really used was the drivers as the owner was elderly. es with the original key chain with lots of keys, a keyless entry key fob that works great. The original security keys, and some keys that I'm not sure what they are for.
It drove really nice and smooth on the highway AFTER I put in some new premium fuel, but, once I got home, the transmission was starting to act up and hesitate. Really fy ride.
