1978 Honda CB550K

Although I have enjoyed it since 2019, I am selling my 1978 Honda CB 550K because I bought a second motorcycle and I don't have time to ride them both! Condition is not showroom-perfect, but it has been fun for me to work on and ride as a running fixer-upper. This is my first motorcycle. I have put a few thousand kilometers on it and I am sad to see it go. Comes with various extra parts I have accumulated while riding and maintaining it.
This bike starts easily with either kick-starter or electric start and sounds amazing. 44 years old yet still rides very well.

Paint on gas tank has some spots from below-surface rust, visible within 2 feet. Depending on temperature, carburetor floats can fail to stop filling carburetor with gas, causing gas leak. Carburetor repair kit included, with replacement gaskets, jets and nozzles. Make sure to park it with the fuel tank valve set to "OFF". Broken wire from front brake pressure sensor, causing brake light to not light up when brake pressed. I accidentally broke this wire when putting it away for winter in 2021 by crushing it in the steering hard-stop. Broken wire shown in walk-around video. Can be fixed easily with a soldering iron. Will pass safety once this wire is fixed!
