This 1978 Jeep CJ-7 was acquired by the seller as a project and subsequently refurbished and modified. Power is provided by a 304ci V8 equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor and mated with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and the truck is finished in red over a black interior. Equipment includes a black removable hardtop, a Dana 30 front and Dana 44 rear axle, a 1″ body lift, aftermarket 15″ chrome-finished wheels, power-assisted brakes, an aftermarket rear bumper, tubular side-steps, aftermarket front bucket seats, and a Kenwood CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. This CJ-7 is now offered with photos from the work, spare keys, and all documents showing the vehicle duties were fully paid for when imported into Canada The body was removed from the frame, stripped to bare metal, and received a two-stage repaint in red by the seller. Rust repair was performed, the front floors were replaced, and doors from a later-model Wrangler were also installed at that time. Additional features include a removable hardtop coated in a black bedliner material, along with a roll bar, an aftermarket rear bumper, tubular side steps, black fender flares, a chrome exhaust tip, and a rear receiver hitch. Aftermarket Centerline 15″ aluminum wheels are mounted with 33×12.5″ Mastercraft Courser MXT tires, and a full-size spare is housed on the rear swing-out carrier. According to the seller, a 1″ body lift has been added, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brake master cylinder and booster were reportedly replaced during current ownership. The cabin features aftermarket front bucket seats trimmed in black leather, along with a black vinyl rear bench seat. Black bedliner has been applied to the floors, and amenities include an aftermarket locking center console, a cabin heater, a passenger grab bar, and a Kenwood CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. The 304ci V8 is fitted with a four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifold, and chrome-trimmed valve covers. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a Borg Warner T-18 four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
