Data plate decodes thus; F25 = F-250 2WD H = 390 cid, 8-cyl, 2V (2WD only) C = Assembly - Ontario, CAN P = 60,000 thru 69,000 - July 1972 COL = 2M (Combination 2-tone: Lower body side and roof are painted the first code color.) 2 = Royal Maroon, M = Wimbledon White Model = F251 - 6900GVW Body V4; V = F100/350 Ranger XLT w/ Dark red vinyl and bodycloth interior; 4 = Styleside pickup Trans G = Automatic transmission (C6 here) Axle 38 = 3.73 ratio Dana 60 DSO A6 = Western Canada
HIGHLY OPTIONED! 390-2V, C6, 3.73 Dana 60, 6900GVW, 16inch rubber good tread (no leakers), PS/PDB, Super Cooling, factory A/C, full instrumentation, side toolbox (VG), chrome WC mirrors, cab lights, rear slide, cargo lamp, AM radio, rear step bumper, Split Tu-Tone red/white/red. Engine won't turn over (currently soaking), rust in usual places (not excessive - worst is box floor). Chrome trim VG/straight (excepting some on tailgate), side toolbox opens/latches fine. ODO shows 26233…….. so 126233 miles. Antifreeze is bright green, ATF is CLEAN; don't see an issue w/ either. Truck was originally sold in Sk; AFAIK never left the province, shows plete w/ years of wear and tear. $4500 CAD neg in person. 45 min S of Saskatoon in RM Rudy #284. Minimum 2 days notice ing to view appreciated.
FYI; A D4TE .060 bored 390 block incl main caps is available as well. As fr machine shop; sprayed w/ heavy RustCheck, never assembled. $800.
