1971 Dodge Challenger

Please read the ad - I will not respond to "is it available". 1971 Challenger PROJECT. Original FC7 Plum Crazy car. Shell was stripped, acid dipped and any metal that was questionable was replaced. Over $17,000 in new metal in this car. Basically if it wasn't perfect it was replaced. The only area that still needs attention is the roof - a new skin and support pieces are included. There are 150+ hours into this car to get it to this point. 95% of the parts are included to put the car back together. Have all glass, including a new windshield. Front and rear seats have been recovered. Original 318 and 904 auto are included - the engine turns over. 2 dashes are included. 15" rallye plete with trim and caps. All wiring is there. K-member has been rebuilt with new bushings. It is power steering and disc brake. 8-3/4" rear end. factory A/C car with a/c heaterbox. Gastank, straps and filler neck. Bumpers, brackets, front and rear aprons, all trim etc. Lots of extra parts to go with the car too. Car needs finishing body work, final fitment, paint and re-assembly. You decide which motor to put it in, can rebuild the 318 or put a Hemi in it - the sky is the limit. There is no fender tag, but dash VIN, door VIN, and rad support VIN all match.
So lets do the math - $10k MINIMUM for a 70/71 shell. And it will be rusty. 150 hours @ 85/hr is 13k. So to get a car to this point you are looking at 10+17+13=40k. IF you can find one.
