1970s Vintage Moulton Bicycle

1970s Moulton Midi Bicycle The Moulton Midi is a 7/8 scale version of the full adult sized bike from the 1970s. Made in Great Britain originally as a “family” bike with an adjustable seat and handle bars to odate various family members. I have upgraded it over the years with a Stronglight crank and chain ring (54 teeth), aluminium wheels (16”), aluminium spokes and new hubs and axels, updated stem (10cm), handlebars, and longer seat post. The rear single speed cassette ring is 13 teeth. The saddle is a vintage Ideale.
This bike has a rear rubber shock absorber. This is a great city bike that is very agile. Best for a rider under 145lb and up to 5’8” or so. This bike has been used and maintained continuously for over 20 years by me and has never been kept outside. Note that I ride this bike without the fenders as I put slightly larger wheels on the bike than the original and there can be some rubbing with the fenders on. Happy to answer any questions.
