4/28 Update: I added some prem fuel to empty tank and engine started after priming, and is running fine. Fuel gauge/float is working. Need to run longer to clean the carb. Fuel filter in carb is fine.

Hi. I've owned this car for a few years. But need to downsize my car collection. Car is located in Herbert. The mileage stated I believe to be accurate (also by appraiser, see below).

Will consider a good offer.

Appraisal for it is $5300 done in 2014 (guy from Lloydminster). I have seen other sedan examples listed for up to $8000 private sales w/o appraisal.

Aqua mist exterior. Lime green vinyl/cloth interior.

Has 5.7L 350 cubic in V8 engine with two barrel carburetor, and 3-speed auto transmission. Belts and battery in good shape. Mileage in miles is on the body/transmission and not the engine (see below).

Previous owner (hardly drove it but owned it for maybe 30yrs) had body repainted in mid-late 1980's with a high quality blue acrylic enamel paint, or it could be a base plus clear coat at pro body shop. Engine was replaced due a broken front portion of the crankshaft (in 2006 with a good working engine - cost was $4500) - maybe ~50-100 miles put on since then. Cruise control was not re-connected by mech). Car was only driven in Summer. Was kept for many years in the shade, and/or covered with a car cover (included).

The body, floor, frame, doors, hood, trunk and rocker panels are sound. The heavy chrome bumpers are solid - no need to rechrome at cost of $1100 ea (shop in Medicine Hat).

It could use some minor work on the paintwork (left fender bottom, driver's front door, left rocker, left rear quarter bottom, right A-pillar, right fender bottom, FR door bottom edge, RR door corner, RR roof (plus two small areas), above right trunk hinge, and right wheel cover; and a couple small areas of body rust (one behind RR wheel on rocker, noticed inner wall is loose - needs repair with support). Note that body shop mended putting heavy grease into the RR roof area vs repainting the area. This type of long lasting paint used can crack with age or lift in spots due to metal adhesion/expansion issues with time. There is a Mother's product to use with touch-up paint to fix existing paint but I've never used it.

There is one small rounded dent on the body (R fender, R door), and three on the rear chrome bumper. Front bumper has a cosmetic issue on left corner. The grille has three areas with a crack (can fix with plastic welding) and grille side apertures could use a slight straightening. The right headlamp bezel frame has cracks. Left headlight is intermittent (could be a loose wire). One lower right piece of chrome trim from the rear window e off (included), and a lower left piece (has some dents) could use a slight end repair (Kelvin's Wheel can do it plus polish all four). RR steel wheel has some nibbling on the edge (Kelvin's can repair it). The headliner at the rear section needs some stitching redone (a Buick enthusiast in Philadelphia spoke to a former worker at the Fisher plant that did the interior for these cars - the headliner was applied damp and steam pressed into place to tighten - like you iron clothes). Needs a new dome/reading light plastic lens, and washer fluid reservoir (or adapt a fluid jug). Teardrop base of radio antenna is there - needs a mast. Add-on tape deck does not play.

Could seat six people on the bench seats (front/rear is fully intact and hardly worn; front seat has a spot and rear back support has some water staining - should steam out. There is one small hole in the fabric near rear shelf). Driver's armrest has some wear on front part. Rear door armrests and C-pillar trim panels have some water staining but can be repainted.

Just changed the thermostat with a new part and topped off coolant/water. Trunk could use some minor work on floor (I did some prep work for respraying) with coating of anti-splatter spray and clear coat (new can of each included). Needs a seal (new seal kit included with some 3M adhesive).

Will also include a new 4001 high beam bulb and some other small light bulbs, pair of new wiper blades, and a pair of Goodyear Regatta tires (minor weathercracking b/w outer tread blocks but sidewalls and tread life is good) that can replace the rears.

You could use this as a daily driver until Winter, but would need new tires for the front (Bridgestone still makes a 205/70R14 size that fits the steel wheels or Kal Tire has a budget tire). The tires are currently not suitable for highway driving due to weather cracking/age but do hold air.

The green floor mats are aftermarket but period correct. They are in very good shape though not perfect. There is a factory beige front floor mat in the trunk - the back of it needs some cleaning.

NOTE: master brake cylinder ($45 AC Delco from Amz) - there is a leak from piston when I moved the car the other day. I did spray some Gunk carb cleaner into the carb after getting it started.

An engine temp gauge, and electric interior heater was added by prev owner.

There is a new spare tire (though old) with jack in the trunk.

Some owners replace all the suspension bushings with polyurethane ones - it does need upper control arm bushings. As I don't have a lift, I can'ment on the other bushings due to low ground clearance.

Would make a good project over the Winter - as it doesn't really need too much mech work done.

An original owners manual is included. You will get two sets of keys.

Optional Sale: pair of museum quality OEM replacement tail lamps with the chrome trim (rare). Present lenses are cracked/chipped.

There is no block heater so it has to be closer to zero degree in order to start it.
