Fun in the sun with this baby blue Valiant convertible! Powered by Plymouth's Slant Six, the "Leaning Tower of Power" this is engine that "would not die" (225 cu in, 145 hp). We've only had Val for just under two years but we've enjoyed every minute with her. Driven only 1200 miles during our ownership. Interior is fully original, only missing a few stitches on the seats-I'd give it an 8/10. Body is rust free, with only a few bits of bubbling paint (it's been painted once, in the original colour, as far as we know). Engine is powerful, runs smooth -- a shot of gas when Val's been sitting for a few days and starts up every time. Convertible top has one small, older repair but in 7/10 condition, it does NOT leak when it rains. Radio works but dash-top speaker is fried; easy find online but I never got around to it. Was certified in June 2021 after some minor repairs and there will be no issues having it certified again. We've got the receipt from certification and also one from a garage that had a look at the car before we bought it that had it up on the hoist--the mechanic gave it an overall 7/8 our of 10.
