Here we have my '55 CDN M43/T249 Ambulance that I am putting up for sale. Located in S. Ontario. Runs and drives as a 68 yr old truck should. No power brakes/steering/windows. 4 speed manual mated to a Chrysler 251 flat six engine. Runs on regular gas. Original 24v system. Rear heater power has been cut at some point. Would make a good resto/resto-mod, or keep driving it as it is. Camping truck? Farm truck? Zombie truck? puter so no need to worry about a EMP! Currently plated/insured and on the road in Ontario, with ownership in my name. New wiper blades, new fan belt, rebuilt master cylinder, new exhaust (proper muffler but pipes had to be customized to fit). Spare tire holder for drivers side door is included. Lower rad hoses, fuel tank hose included...too cold in Ontario to put them on now. Manuals included! Truck was Krown sprayed 02/08/23. 2wdh, 4wdh + 4wdl. Headlights (hi-low), taillights, turn signals, and reverse (red) lights work. Someone along the way has bubba'ed the convoy lights so they do not work. Red dash lights work. Horn works. Cherry does NOT work. The 4 drum brakes have all been checked and have lots of life left in them. This is a project that I will continue to work on, (replace hoses, glass). Measurements are approximate: 207l x 73w x 97h...height INCLUDING cherry. Info I received is that it worked with the fire department at CFB Borden. MoT uvip says I am the 10th owner (maybe 9, going off memory) since 1981.
