1930 AM Westinghouse Tube Radio model 110

Featured in this sale is an A.M. floor model Westinghouse radio, model 110. This A.M. floor model radio is circa 1930. The chassis in this radio has the serial numbers 73565 and 76572. The radio chassis contains 11 vacuum tubes or as they say in Britain, valves. The radio contains one UX280, two UX 245, and eight UY 227 vacuum tubes. These tubes are the five pin tube variety and if you run their numbers through the Google search engine it will e very clear that their individual values are quite financially significant. All ponents are in place and when the machine is plugged in it lights up. The radio tuning selector functions and the radio tuning indicator also functions. The proper knobs are all in place and the wooden cabinet is in good condition. The cabinet is 46 inches high by 27 inches wide by 17 inches deep. The speaker is in place and appears to be in good condition. As this is an A.M. radio, I connected it to an antenna but could not receive a signal as no AM channels broadcast in my area. The price of the radio is $300. The radio can be picked up in the village of West Dover, 29 km outside Halifax, Nova Scotia.
