1930 ALL-STEEL FORD FULL FENDER MODEL A PICKUP PRO-BUILT GROUND-UP BUILD STREET & HIGHWAY SUMMER CRUISER - SHOW & GO!
History: Pro built ground up Alberta, Canada build which was finished in 2008. A car dealership purchased it for Promotions and decided to sell it – they drove it very little. Purchased in the summer of 2022. Runs strong and smooth on the highway – nice torque. Only 2400 miles on the build. Fun to drive!
Body: ALL STEEL – FULL FENDERED. No rust. New glass with removable plexi-glass panels for doors where glass would go. New wooden roof bows with snap-on white vinyl removable roof canopy. Red primer color body paint with black fenders and running boards. Drilled sun visor. VERY tasteful pinstriping. Blue dot rear taillights. Removable hood (not shown). Wooden box floor.
Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Dropped solid front axle with gas shocks and Vega steering box. Rear triangulated 4-link with coil overs.
Engine: GM 350 CID (+.30) 1978-year 4 bolt main. Comp Cam 282 hydraulic. GM ported cylinder heads. New WALKER heavy duty radiator. Holley 4 bbl carburetor. Finned valve covers with matching air cleaner. SPAL electric fan. Optima battery.
Trans: GM Crate Stage II - 700R4 overdrive with Gennie shifter and artistic shift knob. Differential: FORD 9 inch with MOSER forged axles. Truck runs nicely at 2200 rpm at 100 km per hour. Smooth runner. Exhaust: Wrapped Lake headers. Sounds very cool. Brakes: Power front disc and rear drum. Adjustable proportioning valve.
Wheels: American Racing SALT FLAT 15X6 and 15X7 with knock offs. Tires: BF Goodrich wide white walls – front 165 70R 15 and rear 255 70R 15.
Interior: New seat springs with white pleated upholstery. New carpet. Aftermarket V8 spoke steering wheel. Pete ‘n Jakes dash gauge cluster and low mount tach. Hotrod stickers on door panels.
Extras included: Spun aluminum gas tank in box. Large black vinyl storage bag for the box with buckle straps. Options and Special Features: Power steering and brakes. Pull button start. 2 cell phone chargers.
