Selling an immaculate Antique Circa Early to Mid 1800's Gorgeous all solid Honey Maple Princess 3 Drawer Dresser with removable Mirror. A stunning addition to any bedroom for your Country , Heritage, Pioneer Rustic Home bedroom.
This 170 year old Plus beautiful maple Princess Style Dresser features Two bowed upper drawers with Skeleton key slots and wood drawer pulls. It has a Deep bottom drawer for storage. It also features panelled sides. Common in those days.
The drawers feature hand carved Dovetailed joint drawers. As you can see from the non-identical joints each one done by hand by the craftsman. (Note- Machine Made dovetail joints are all uniform and almost exact in size and shape. Machine made dovetail joints became popular in the 1890's. Prior to that furniture joints were all hand carved).
This lovely es with the Original, removeable, bevelled vertical oval mirror and cast iron wheels.
The front face of this dresser has a lovely bowed or curved front facade and carved design lower skirt. Adding to its unique character. In a timeless colour and patina.
The Dimensions for the lower cabinet without the mirror are: 33.5” wide x 19” deep x 26.5” tall. With the mirror installed the height is 42.5” tall.
It is currently sitting in Oakville close to Lakeshore Road and Mississauga Street near Bronte. It can be viewed or picked up there. Please bring help to carry it out.
