Sold By The Foot - 14ga Oxygen Free Pure Copper Strand Speaker wire. High conductivity, low resistance and about the best value in Pure Copper Speaker wire. I do have larger and also smaller gauges. 14gauge is an all around perfect wire for your speaker wire needs. I have used high power(240 Watts RMS up to 480 watts RMS per channel) for hours on end with no damage to either equipment or speakers through 75ft lengths of 14ga pure copper strand lamp cord doing dances for many years. So to try and convince me that using any larger diameter wire has any benefits in real world scenarios is a losing battle. Most Audio shops are stocking Cheaper quality Copper Plated Aluminum wire and selling it as Quality Speaker Audio Cable. If you are told using CCA wire is good then why is Aluminum wire banned in home construction. Aluminum wire has more resistance per foot and requires a larger diameter wire to conduct the same current as Pure Copper Strand wire.
