The trailer is now available.

The specific model is Scott Trailers TAT 7000lb Heft Hauler, Tandem Axle. It’s dimensions are 171 inches by 75 inches. It has numerous stake holder pockets all round and has tie bar all round. It runs ST205-75D14 tires on galvanized steel rims. The weight of the trailer is 1200lbs to according to axle rating it can carry a maximum load of 5800lbs.

Scott Manufacturing of Westfield, NB have manufactured trailers since 1975. Their trailers are renowned for their reliability and very solid construction. (After selling this trailer I will still have two of their products.)

The trailer is in very good condition. It’s usually storied inside in the winters. It has not been used mercial purposes, instead, only for private occasional use. The galvanizing is as good as when the trailer was purchased — except it has naturally aged or oxidized to a dull sheen. Currently it has wooden sides attached but these can easily be removed. The sides could do with replacing if you need sides.

Five years ago the 6 x 2 inch deck boards were replaced with treated dimensional lumber. There are two spare rims with mounted tires available separately. I also have a new tire available. There are ample running lights, signal lights and brake lights.

Other Dimensions and Specifications. 2 inch ball receiver, surge brake (which means no special towing vehicle equipment but you get very good braking ability. However, and of course, the towing vehicle must be capable of towing the maximum allowable load (if required.) the surge brakes are very effective.

I’ll update this ad with more details and photos as it gets closer to November. The photos I’ve put up are the only ones I have until I take new photos in the next few weeks.
