Here's a General Electric 1HP 3450 RPM single-phase motor with a 5/8" keyed shaft, currently wired for 110v and attached to a heavy-duty Cutler-Hammer reversing drum switch. All the wiring is there to make it go. I plugged it in and it hums a!ong quietly in both directions. The switch alone is well worth the price, so you can look on the motor as a free extra. Bolt it to your lathe or milling machine, plug it in, and you're ready to make chips!
